Newtownabbey PSNI officers deal with multiple overnight incidents

Police officers responded to a number of incidents in Newtownabbey overnight, including making an arrest after a drink driver was detected in Glengormley.

Commenting today (Thursday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Over the course of night shift in Newtownabbey we have effected an arrest for driving with excess alcohol in the Glengormley area and detected a quantity of Class B controlled drugs in the Mallusk area.

"We also located a high risk missing person in Ballyclare and made one arrest in relation to a serious assault.”
