Police have charged a man in connection with a burglary in Dromara

Police investigating a burglary in Dromara have charged a 31-year-old man.

The charge relates to burglary in the Mullaghdrin Road area on July 28.He is due to appear via video link before Lisburn Magistrates' Court, sitting in Craigavon, on Wednesday August 2.As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The man, also arrested on suspicion of thefts of vehicles, theft of number plates and commercial burglaries in Co Down and Belfast, has been bailed on these matters pending further enquiries.
