Rape accused remanded on bail
A man accused of rape who was released on high court bail last week has been remanded back into custody.
Before Londonderry Magistrates Court was Michael Carlin, of Amelia Court, faces a total of 43 charges relating to alleged incidents on November 18, including rape, sexual assault, possession of a firearm, aggravated burglary and attempted hijacking.
He handed himself into police on Tuesday and indicated that he wanted his bail revoked. He was remanded to appear in court again on Thursday,, February 5.
