Update on arrests in Portstewart following assault

Police in Coleraine have issued an update on the arrest of three men following a report of an assault in Portstewart yesterday evening, Thursday (May 11).

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said in a statement this afternoon (Thursday): “Two men aged 19 and 20 arrested following a report of an assault in The Diamond area of Portstewart on Thursday 11th May have been released on bail to return for further questioning.

"A third man, aged 26 has been released unconditionally.”
