Witnesses sought after BMX stolen in Rathcoole

Police have launched an appeal in a bid to locate a BMX after it was stolen from outside a retail premises in Rathcoole.

The bike was stolen from outside the Spar store in The Diamond area of the estate just after 7pm on Wednesday, May 5.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “CCTV shows the owner parking it up outside the store and then it being taken by a different male whilst the owner was in the shop.

“Did you see this happen? Do you know who took it,, or where it is now?

“If anyone can confirm the current location of the BMX, or can assist in identifying the person who took it, please contact us on 101 and quote reference number 1683 of 05/05/21.”
