Anne said, “My great-grandfather, William Spratt, was from County Down. He and his wife, Margaret McCreadie, lived at Tullyconnaught, near Banbridge, where my grandfather, Sam Sprott, was born in 1881.”
Anne made use of many of the resources available in the area as part of her research – Armagh Ancestry, the Irish and Local Studies Library, Armagh, Banbridge Genealogy Services, Craigavon Museum Services and Armagh County Museum to name a few of the organisations that will be in attendance at the Family Living History Fair to help you find out more about your past.
The Family History Fair is one of the many spectacular events taking place as part of the area’s St Patrick’s Festival 2016.
