Dunseverick LOL gift
North Antrim TUV MLA Jim Allister has presented a centenary commemorative certificate to officers of Dunseverick LOL 528 to mark the use of their hall for the signing of the Ulster Covenant in 1912.
Mr Allister said: “The current custodians of this lodge can be proud of what their forbearers did in 1912 when they opened their doors and allowed men and women to sign their name to the Ulster Solemn League and Covenant. This was a seminal moment in the history of our nation, and we owe our thanks to them.”
