DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart commented: "It was an absolutely fantastic night. It's a night that will go down in history.

“There was a great buzz and a great family atmosphere."

UUP's Meta Crozier, who was a member of the Lurgan 400 organising committee, said: "It's over a year since we first sat down with staff and thought about something to mark Lurgan's 400th anniversary.

"Saturday was a wonderful night. There were at least 5,000 people in the park - that's an achievement in itself."
