Feeny man lifted in violent dissident republican activity probe

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in the Feeny area by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch in relation to violent dissident republican activity.

The man was taken to Musgrave police staton in Belfast for questioning.

Police gave no indication as to why the man was arrested other than suspected involvment in dissident activity.

The man was picked up on Friday in Feeny, a village just a couple of kilometres away from Park, where three self-professed members of Óglaigh na hÉireann posed for photographs last week.
