The funeral for the young Ardboe woman Jenna Coney who died suddenly, has been held on Sunday.

Jenna was laid to rest at Old Cross Cemetery after an 11.30am Requiem mass at Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Mullinahoe.

The funeral cortege left her at Mullinahoe Road home, making its way to the chapel where hundreds of mourners turned out to pay their respects.

Huge numbers of people have also used social media to leave tributes to Jenna who is understood to have suffered from epilepsy.

The 25-year-old, who passed away peacefully at home, is believed to have been discovered in bed early on Friday morning [March 27].

The past pupil of Holy Trinity leaves behind her mother Marie and father Brendan, brothers Mark and Adam, sister Darina and partner Damien.
