Granite challenge for Carrickfergus club cyclists

Cyclists from Carrickfergus have put their pedal power to the test in aid of charity.

Members of Madigan Cycling Club joined hundreds of other like-minded enthusiasts across Northern Ireland to raise funds for Action Mental Health (AMH) by taking part in ‘The Granite Challenge’.

The 55-mile cycle started at AMH’s New Horizons Service in Downpatrick, before travelling through the scenic surroundings of the Mourne Mountains and returning back to base camp.

A total sum of £4,579.30 was raised for Action Mental Health, which will help provide life-changing services to those living with mental ill health.
