Halloween fireworks in Ballycastle

MOYLE Council's annual Halloween fireworks display will be held on Halloween night, Sunday 31st October, at 8pm at Ballycastle seafront.

And a Halloween Parade will also take place in the town on the 31st.

A Moyle Council report said: ‘The Halloween Parade in Ballycastle has been growing in the past few years and getting bigger, better and more exciting each time. It has now become a really great family event which many, especially the children, look forward to.

‘Letters have been sent to community groups, businesses and individuals to make Halloween 2010 the best ever by getting as many people as possible involved to join in the fun.

‘Everyone is encouraged to join the parade in fancy dress, or perhaps to promote their organisation by making a banner to parade behind or maybe even push the boat out by creating a float - there were some great ones in the parade last year and they really do make the event very special.

‘Anything that might add to the spectacle for Halloween night would be very welcome and no doubt will be enjoyed by everyone. For further information contact the Arts Officer on 02820762225,’ said the report.
