House burgled
On Friday 23rd March, police received a report that a dwelling house in the Rathlin Avenue area of Ballycastle had been entered and a laptop and purse stolen. At this stage it is believed the house was entered via the unlocked rear door. Enquiries continuing.
Man arrested
In the early hours of Saturday 24th March, a 42 year old male was arrested in the Strandview Road area of Ballycastle on suspicion of Driving with Excess Alcohol. The male has been charged to appear at North Antrim Magistrates’ Court on 18th April.
Diamond incident
On Sunday 25th March, a 51 year old male was arrested in The Diamond area of Ballycastle, on suspicion of Driving Whilst Unfit through Drink or Drugs and Dangerous Driving. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
