Jobless figure drops slightly
UNEMPLOYMENT dropped slightly in Lisburn last month.
New figures show 3,493 people registered as out of work in the city last month - eight fewer than in May.
The total included 2,432 men and 1,061 women.
However, since last year the number of people registering as unemployed has risen by 244 - an increase of 7.5% on the June 2011 total.
