Earlier in the week, criminal damage was caused to Edenderry Nursery School, which was targeted three nights in a row.

On Tuesday night, the culprits climbed onto the roof and broke a skylight, which collapsed through the ceiling of one of the toilets.

On Monday and Tuesday nights, the chicken coops were damaged in what is thought to have been an attempt to hurt the children’s pet hens.

In both cases, the PSNI are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has any information to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
