A security alert was sparked on Thursday morning when a suspect object was found inside the Ballycastle PSNI Station on Ramoan Road in the town. PIC BY STEVEN MCAULEY
The security alert inside the grounds of Ballycastle PSNI station ended at around 1.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

Inspector Tony Boyce said: “A controlled explosion was carried out following the discovery of two devices. The first device was a viable incendiary device and the second a hoax device.

People have returned to business premises in the area and the Ramoan Road can be accessed as usual.”
