Murder: Bail terms relaxed

The man accused of the murder of Paul McCauley, Piper John McClements, has had his bail conditions relaxed.

Londonderry Magistrates Court District Judge, Barney McElholm, permitted the relaxation of certain conditions, which mean McClements will no longer be subjected to a curfew, he is no longer forbidden from drinking alcohol and he is now allowed to enter the Waterside.

McClements may not contact the McCauley family and must report to police.

The case will be discussed again on December 7.

Legal arguments will take place on December 22.
