NRC offers great new course in digi-marketing

The course is being introduced as the college recognises digital marketing as one of today’s fastest-growing sector in the modern communications environment.

This completely new course is unique to Mid Ulster area and is staffed by digital marketing professionals who still work in industry.

Digital industry experts teaching on this course include Naomh McElhatton and Lisa McGarry.

Naomh McElhatton, has extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience within this specialist area. Naomh’s widespread industry experience and portfolio stems from working as a Digital Strategist at House of Comms – an independent, award-winning integrated communications agency based in the United Arab Emirates to STEM Ambassador and Founder of Digital Advertising Northern Ireland (DANI) and the Digital Exchange.

Naomh’s key strengths include online audits, digital strategy, content marketing, devising social media policies, commercialisation strategies, customer attraction and retention, online advertising, campaign execution, reporting and analytics.

Lisa McGarry, is a Digital Media Consultant with a strong background in journalism and online content production. She provides services and training in the areas of social media, content strategy, digital marketing, web design and online security to local businesses.

In 2005, she found Unreality TV, one of the UK’s largest entertainment websites and went on to build a network of online properties, which attract in excess of two million visitors every month.

The Level 3 Diploma in Digital Marketing course is a one year full-time programme. Upon successful completion of the course, students can decide if they wish to progress to the Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing.
