Appeal after 'sum of money' found in Carrickfergus

Police are appealing to the public for help after a sum of money was found in Carrickfergus last month.

A report was made to police that on June 2 at 10:30pm a large sum of money was found in a field off the New Line road.

The money was found inside an unsealed/untied carrier bag.

"We have made a number of enquiries and would urge anyone who believes this money belongs to them, or anyone who has information about this to call us on 101, quoting 2203 of 02/06/2020," a PSNI spokesperson said.
