Family and friends searching Bundoran coastline for missing Tyrone pensioner

Family and friends of a missing Tyrone pensioner are urgently appealing to the public to help bring him home.

Seamus McNulty from Dungannon was last seen just over a week ago leaving a hotel in Bundoran, Co Donegal.

A search involving the Gardai, Boyne Valley Rescue, RNLI as well as family, friends and members of the community got underway today along the coastline.

In a social media post, the family of the 79-year-old say he may have entered the water at Roguey Cliffs via Bundoran Beach West End.

It reads: "At present family and friends are keeping a close eye on the coastline with human eye and binoculars. Support from those with drones would be greatly appreciated.

"Family are also appealing to fishermen and surfers in the area to keep an extra eye out whilst in the water.

"Anyone wishing to help in the search or to report sightings, please contact Martin McNulty (family -son) on 00447919912652."
