Maghera Library is due to close this week for essential maintenance and upgrade of lighting.

The library at Church Street will close on Thursday (March 2) and reopen on Monday, March 20.

A Libraries NI spokesperson said: "During the library closure, alternative libraries include Draperstown and Magherafelt.

"Items can also be renewed online with your library membership card and PIN number which is available from library staff. eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines can also be borrowed through our online library at librariesni.org.uk."
