Power cut in Co Armagh town

Power has been restored to a number of homes in the Craigavon area of Co Armagh, following an earlier cut.

Close to 2,000 customers had been left without power this afternoon (Monday, January 11) following a power cut in the Monbrief area of Craigavon, reported around 12.30pm.

According to the NIE website: “Our repair team has arrived and is assessing the problem. The fault is due to due to third party damage to the network.”

An estimated 307 customers are still without power. Estimated restoration time is 4pm.
