Pupil pass advice for parents
Travelling by public transport is a safe and cost effective way for kids to travel to school and the experience provides children with independence and helps develop social skills.
Stephen Campbell, Brand Coordinator said carrying a Pupil Pass also means that kids don’t have to carry cash for tickets and this provides parents with peace of mind.

Hide Ad“If your child will not be travelling by bus every day, they also have the option of using a Smartlink card which can be pre-loaded with a number of journeys and used as and when needed. These journeys are valid for one year and you can top up any time at a wide range of convenience stores throughout Mid-Ulster,” he explained.
Translink is Northern Ireland’s principal school transport service provider carrying over 65,000 school pupils every day.
