Rail safety message

It is the third year the company has released the calendar, which aims to deliver important rail safety messages for 2014.

Level crossing risk coordinator with Translink, Keith Pollock said: “Since we first produced this calendar two years ago, it has been so well received by our crossing owners, passengers and others that we have decided to publish a 2014 edition, featuring images of our fleet of trains operating throughout the network.

“2013 saw many changes and additions to the rail network; a new timetable was launched in January with 60 additional services operating per week.

“Meanwhile, passenger numbers across the network have increased again this year and more and more people are choosing to travel by train at least once a week.”
