Series of drug raids in Limavady

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Neighbourhood police in Limavady have carried out a number of drugs operations in the area in recent weeks in conjunction with Tactical Support Group and Response colleagues.

“Quantities of suspected Class A and B drugs, along with connected paraphernalia, have been seized. Several people have been arrested and remain on bail on suspicion of dealing drugs and numerous persons have been reported to Public Prosecution Service in relation to the possession of drugs.

“Local police will continue to deal with information from the public in relation to drugs in a robust manner. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for information in relation to persons involved with illegal drugs and would ask for your continued support on this important issue.”
