Spate of hoax bombs
THE security alert at The Roddens is the latest in a series of hoaxes in Larne in recent months.
The most recent was on Monday, January 17, when a number of residents were forced to leave their homes while a suspect device was examined at the gates of St Anthony’s Church in Craigyhill.
PSNI Inspector Noel Rogan said this spate of incidents has “raised fear in the local community and caused a lot of concern”.
He added that the recent incident at The Roddens is the third time that the ATC Centre has been targeted.
