Stolen dog reunited with its owner
A DOG which was in a car when it was stolen from a street in Whiteabbey last week was found safe and well the following day.
Meg, a black and white Border Collie, was inside the silver Mercedes C180 which was taken from Fernagh Avenue on Friday (August 3) at around 6.45pm.
The car was found in the Seaforde Gardens area of east Belfast in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The dog was recovered and returned to its owner.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
