Sunday morning paintbomb attack

A PAINT bomb was thrown at a premises in the heart of the Waterside’s commercial district in broad daylight on Sunday, June 26.

Police in Londonderry are investigating an incident of criminal damage on a commercial premises on Clooney Terrace, on the morning of Sunday 26 June.

A spokesperson stated: “At around 9.45 am a paintbomb damaged the door of the premises. Although staff were inside at the time of the attack there were no reports of any injuries.

“The suspect, who was wearing a red and white coloured top is thought to have approached and left the scene via the Spencer Road.”

Police are appealing for information and anyone who witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
