Thanks for charity tea

Dan Moore, whose wife Jacqueline died in February, held the event at his house at Rocklane, Aghagallon.

Dan, his sons Michael and Seamus, and daughter Marion McAvoy raised over 12,000 for the Marie Curie and Macmillan charities.

He said: “I would like to thank each and every one who helped out in any way. We could not have done this without the support we were given. It was a great evening and it’s even better that we have raised so much money for a good cause.”
