With plans for a new 21st century building, the Ozanam Development Trust wish to ensure that the facility is maximised and that local people from across Lurgan can access services and various supports that they may otherwise be reluctant to visit, particularly when it concerns health.

November offers a range of opportunities for then people of Lurgan to engage with their health. The project has been launched with the willing participation of Rory Haughian who will grow a Moustache (mo) for the month of ‘Movember’, raising vital awareness and some funds for Prostate Cancer. November sees the International Health Day, and in the run up to the festive period why not try and get your health in check through our range of healthy eating activities and creative ideas for leftovers or Christmas Dinner on a budget.

The project would not be possible without the support of the local health providers as well as some local businesses. The Community Health and Well Being Team at the Southern Trust, along with Craigavon Borough Council through the Active Communities and Investing for Health programmes, have been instrumental in assisting in the development of the programme.
