The Shepherd will not lead his sheep astray

‘Tis best to soldier on with a little hope
Than look back on times of regret
And to remember you’re God’s chosen vessel
He has never failed you yet.
Life’s turning points are not always noticed
Spring is a season of hope and cheer
Determine to keep a song in your heart
Though there’s no one there to hear.
And there’s a new season around the corner
A ray of hope for each given day When we keep our mind on the Shepherd Who will not lead his sheep astray.
Let’s endeavour each day to be thankful
For infinite mercies sent from above
Enabling us to forgive and daily carry
A blessing which speaks of His love.
