Threatened to shoot man
Martin Daniel McStravick (40), Levin Road, Lurgan, admitted unlawful assault on June 26 this year.
The court heard that on June 27 just after midnight in Hill Street, a young man claimed that McStravick had threatened to shoot him and he feared for his safety.

A barrister representing the defendant said the pre-sentence report was fairly positive.
He added that the young man, the son of McStravick’s partner, would have been frightened when he tried to intervene in an argument. The defendant wanted to build up the relationship again with the son.
The lawyer said alcohol had been a factor behind what happened and that McStravick had been referred to the addictions team.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said it was not the normal case of domestic violence.
