Three released in McCauley attack probe

THREE men detained in connection with an attack on Londonderry civil servant Paul McAuley in 2006, have been released unconditionally.

Police in the city had yesterday (Wednesday, April 28, 2010) arrested three men with a sectarian attack left the man in a coma.

Paul McCauley, who's from Prehen, has required round-the-clock care since he was attacked by a gang at a barbecue on Chapel Road in July 2006.
