Delays expected during Ballyclare Firmus Energy works

Motorists are advised that a section of the Ballycorr Road in Ballyclare is closed for works.

The lane closure, which commenced this morning (Thursday), is operating from outside number 56 to outside number 38 Ballycorr Road.

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required daily for the connection of new Firmus Energy gas mains.

“Stop and go boards will be in operation.”

The work is being conducted by a Firmus Energy contractor.

Road users are advised to expect estimated delays of between five and 15 minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 4.30pm on April 16.
