Section of Whitewell Road closed for works

The lane closure, which commenced on Wednesday, April 14, is operating from Fairyknowe Gardens to Throne Terrace.

Providing an update, a spokesperson for the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) said: “The work is being carried out off-peak only.

“The closure is to allow for the installation of new cable and poles.

“The work is being conducted by a private contractor.”

Road users are advised to expect estimated delays of up to five minutes.

The work is due to be completed by 4.30pm on Thursday, May 6.
