‘Serious’ damage caused to car after M2 collision

PSNI Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on the M2 in Newtownabbey yesterday (Thursday).

Detailing the incident, a police spokesperson said: “Officers at Steeple Roads Policing are investigating a collision that occurred yesterday (April 22) at approximately 8.05am on the M2 convenient to Sandyknowes.

“This incident, between a lorry and a car, involved quite serious damage to the car.

“Witnesses to this incident are encouraged to contact police on 101, quoting incident reference 273 22.4.21. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.”

Police are appealing for information.
