Video: Asda staff complete icy challenge

Managers and section leaders at the Asda superstore in Ballyclare completed the ice bucket challenge on Monday afternoon (October 13) to raise cash for a very worthy cause.

The chilly challenge, which saw brave staff members line up outside the store and tip buckets of icy water over their heads, was organised to raise funds for the Tickled Pink breast cancer charity.

Managers and section leaders at the Ballyclare store were nominated for the challenge by their colleagues in Asda Portadown and Asda Antrim.

On completion of their challenge, the Ballyclare staff nominated colleagues in Asda Larne and Asda Cookstown.

The ice bucket challenge craze has been a massive online hit, with millions of people around the world posting videos of themselves getting soaked with icy water and nominating friends to do likewise - all in the name of raising money for good causes.
