Video: Huge numbers take part in Omagh Half Marathon 2015

Huge numbers of runners took to the streets of Omagh for the 26th Half Marathon on Saturday.

The main race was won by Gideon Kimosop in a time of 1.05.15, with Belfast’s Paul Pollock taking second position in a time of 1.06.24.

One of Mid Ulster’s leading runners, Aaron Meharg from Acorns AC finished in a great time of 1.14.40

The Half Marathon was also the focus of an emotional tribute to Omagh’s student Enda Dolan, who was tragically killed in Belfast last October.

HE family of a Killyclogher teenager tragically killed close to his student accommodation in Belfast have announced plans to stage a run in his memory.

The ‘Run for Enda’ was held in association with the Omagh Half Marathon and Fun Run, a run which Enda completed on several occasions.
