‘We continue to invest in facilities and courses’

In a statemment to the times, the principal and Chief Executive of the College, Trevor Neilands, said: “NRC continues to invest in its facilities and courses at the Ballymoney campus.

“A £100k investment has just been completed on campus for the School of Media & Performing Arts and a new hospitality course is being introduced this September.

“The downturn in the economy has led to a reduction in the demand for construction training and is reflective of the locality. This has resulted in the level of training provision for Carpentry and Joinery and Bricklaying being reduced accordingly. An extensive range of FE programmes continues to be offered on the Ballymoney campus.”
