Witness against Omagh bomb accused ordered to appear at Dunganon Court despite safety fears
A primary prosecution witness in the trial of Omagh bomb accused Seamus Daly, has been ordered to appear at Dungannon Court next week despite fears for his safety.
District Judge Liam McNally made the ruling at Omagh Magistrates Court.
And even though he acknowledged Dennis O’Connor’s fears for his and the safety of his family, the Ulster Herald reported that he did not give any weight to suggestions appearing in person would diminish his evidence.
