Porterfield scored an impressive 56 not out as he and opener Niall O’Brien had an impressive 74 run partnership, after Paul Stirling had been dismissed early in their innings, but in the end they eased to a seven wicket win.

The skipper was also quick to praise his bowlers who reduced the Africans to just 124/8 off their 20 overs.

After the game at Stormont, Sentinel Sport’s Cricket correspondent Barry Chambers spoke to Porterfield.
