Dromore get a slice of the action

DROMORE mini and youth academy sent a P3 team to Belfast High School Rugby Club on Saturday November 3 to take part in the first Ulster/Domino’s Pizza Festival of Mini Rugby.

Twelve teams from all over Northern Ireland attended the Tournament; Dromore took 10 children who were accompanied by Coach’s Mark Robinson and Clare Allen.

Dromore went through the tournament unbeaten.

The whole team played some great rugby throughout the day with great tries scored and some fantastic defensive work.

After all the results were collected by the officials, Dromore were crowned the overall winners and were awarded the Fair Play Award.

Well played boys and girls and hats off to the coaching team at Dromore Mini and Youth Academy for putting together a well drilled side.

Did this roving reporter see coach Allen sneak a piece of Pizza or two on the day? How many points for those slices Clare?
