“Cockhill Celtic and Drumkeen United could both compete in the First Division of the League of Ireland, but that’s the level of sides we want to playing,” stated Quigg.

“It’s a chance for players like Josh Tracey who is still only 17, to play against men and learn from the experinece.

“Our main aim is not to win the league but to produce players who are capable of stepping up to the first team and hopefully unearthing the next James McClean or Danny Lafferty.”

Quigg’s young squad will feature the likes of Tracey, Paul Ramsey, Georgie Kelly and Conal Kelly, who are fresh from clinching the League of Ireland U19 Northern Section recently.
