Four games in a row without a goal for 18th

Eighteenth Newtownabbey Old Boys have now gone four games in a row without a goal and suffered seven defeats in their last eight outings, after going down 3-0 at Holywood.

Old Boys’ manager Michael Jamison admitted: “We’re playing nice enough football, but our problems are in the final third. Holywood were no better than us. In the first half we had a chance, missed by Neil Campbell on his wrong foot.

“They took theirs – and then after the break, we gave them two goals and it’s the experienced players who are letting us down. It’s frustrating!”

On Saturday, 18th travel to Dromore Amateurs where another defeat could see them slither into 1c’s bottom three.
