On paper the Old Boys look strong favourites, top of the Premier Division and plying their trade two divisions above their opponents, they suffered a rare defeat in the Irish Junior Cup two weeks ago.

The Maydown men are currently looking odds on to gain promotion, they have some quality players who wouldn’t be out of place in the top division, this could go to extra time.

Prediction: BBOB.

Premier Division

Donemana v Lincoln Courts

The home side have found life in the top division tough going, they have been in the bottom three all season and a drop down to the first division wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen.

The Courts can close the gap on leaders BBOB who are involved in cup action, however they can’t underestimate the home side especially on their own soil.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.

Newbuildings United Res v Ardmore

Both these sides are in the top four but realistically they are out of the title race. The home sides season has gone off the rails since the winter break with a couple of lack lustre performances.

Ardmore last seasons champions have not been as consistent this season however they will still strive to at least finish in the top three.

Prediction: Ardmore.

Tullyally v Dungiven Reserves

Tullyally are just a couple of players short of being championship contenders, they are still one of the best footballing sides in the division and could finish in the top four.

Dungiven bowed out of the Matt Morrison Junior Cup last week and they must now concentrate in moving out of the relegation zone.

Prediction: Tullyally.
