Larne set to take on Cliftonville in friendly
After Saturday’s 3-2 Steel and Sons Cup defeat to Cliftonville Olympic, Larne go head-to-head with the north Belfast club’s first-team in a friendly at Inver tonight (Wednesday, 7:30pm).
There are no points at stake, but it will be a big opportunity for Graham McConnell’s men to restore an element of pride after the weekend result.
“They asked us for the game because they have some players getting back from injury,” McConnell told the Times.
