This Saturday there are two games in the Matt Morrison Junior Cup and three games in the Premier Division.

Matt Morrison Junior Cup

BBOB v Ardmore

The Old Boys are seeing their season fall apart. Bottom of the league and knocked out of the City Cup last week, they are really showing no fight for the battle.

They are conceding too many goals.

Ardmore are the opposite, currently on the crest of the wave they are playing with great confidence and will be favourites to make Don Olphert’s season worse.

Prediction: Ardmore.

Draperstown Celtic v Newbuildings United Res

The County Derry men are having an exceptional season already sure to be champions of the First Division they see themselves as serious contenders for this cup. They are scoring goals for fun and they will expect that to continue here.

Newbuildings are giving a lot of their young players regular game time and that is their main objective the experience will stand to them in the future.

Prediction: Draperstown Celtic.

Premier Division

Foyle Wanderers v Claudy Rovers

The Wanderers sit in top spot and they are certainly not going to give up their crown easily.

Robbie Godfrey has been on fire all season and with quality players around him its not difficult to see why they are doing so well.

Rovers booked their place in the next round of the Junior cup last Saturday but their form has been patchy. They need the Wanderers to have an off day.

Prediction: Foyle Wanderers.

Tullyally v Lisahally

The wheels have certainly come off the home side. They have now lost three in a row, they still have basically the same side who up to the break were doing fairly well. They must get back to that form sooner rather than later.

Lisahally are on a good run. They have some very good players and a shrewd back room staff, they are steadily moving up the table and are still involved in the cups.
Another victory looks a likely prospect.

Prediction: Lisahally.

Lincoln Courts v Greysteel

Kolyn Patterson will have had plenty to say to his players after lest week’s performance at Donemana.

Did they go into that one thinking they just had to turn up? He must now concentrate on the league title.

Greysteel have near enough their full side available again, however they are still losing games and find themselves at the wrong end of the table. The Courts to get back to winning ways.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.
