City Cup

Newbuildings Utd Res v Dungiven Res

The home side suffered a couple of poor results before the break however if they can get back to the way they were playing they will have a good second half of the season.

Dungiven showed what they are capable of in their last couple of games and if they are at full strength they are a match for anyone.

Prediction: Newbuildings United Reserves.

Irish Street v Ardmore

Irish Street have taken a couple of Premier scalps earlier in the season and they will be looking to take another one here, they are having an excellent season and look likely to get promoted.

Ardmore will be missing players through suspension but manager Damien Mc Gee has a big panel to choose from. This could go to extra time.

Prediction: Ardmore.

BBOB v Foyle Wanderers

The Old Boys are going for a clean sweep of trophies, they have been outstanding all season playing some wonderful football, they will be strong favourites to progress.

Wanderers themselves are having a good season their main aim is to get promotion and they are well placed to do that, however this looks tough.

Prediction: BBOB.

Drummond v Donemana

The Roesiders are in the top half of the Premiership and manager Chris Moore will be pleased with their season so far, however he would like a run in this competition.

Donemana are not the best of travellers and their main aim is to survive in the top division home advantage may just sway it.

Prediction: Drummond.

Claudy United v Lincoln Courts

The home side although they will be the underdogs will give it one hundred per cent and on their own patch they can be a difficult side to beat.

The Courts haven’t given up all hope of catching BB in the title race but they will see this cup as their big chance to maybe get some silverware, they should be to strong.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.
