Tobermore push too late as Dundela take the points
Dundela’s dominance continued early in the second half and they increased their lead with a 55th minute penalty from Stephen Gourley.
Both managers made several changes at this stage, the most significant being the introduction of Tobermore’s top marksman Neil Lamont, whose pace and eye for gaol saw the pendulum begin to swing in favour of the home side.

Hide AdTobermore at last began to trouble the visiting back four and their keeper Paul Hughes, a mere spectator for the first 60 minutes, suddenly found himself in the thick of the action.
Lamont had a few chances that Hughes dealt with but he could do nothing to stop the hit man from scoring his first on 75 minutes.
He almost got his second five minutes later when he beat the onrushing Hughes to a through ball but, under pressure from two green shirts, his shot grazed the outside of the post.
It was all Tobermore now and things got even more worrying for the visitors when Lamont did get his and Tobermore’s second with five minutes to go when he slotted home from close range.

Hide AdTobermore piled on the pressure looking for an equaliser and Hughes did well to stop the home side getting the third goal they will feel their late rally deserved but it wasn’t to be and the Dunns held on to take all 3 points, Tobermore United 2 Dundela 3.
