Towers won't take foot off the pedal

Hide AdIt didn’t get much better for Michelin after the break as Christopher Wilson’s rink succumbed to a 7-14 defeat by Darren McCullough but there was a crumb of comfort for the Woodside Road side in the form of a 7-4 win for Matthew Boyd against Graham Maybin.
In the other Division One game, Old Bleach took four-and-a-half points from their home game against Golf Club, for whom Johnny Lynn’s 7-7 tie with David Burrowes prevented a whitewash.
The outcome was effectively decided in the first half, by which stage Bleach had built up a 29-10 lead thanks to wins from Brian Trimble and Neil Booth against John Jamieson and Fred Dawson.
It was a lot closer after the break where, as well as the Burrowes-Lynn stalemate, Mervyn McDonald added another point for the Randalstown side with a 7-6 win over Kevin McGarry.
